Opticon load files are very simple. Also, IPro has a free download, iConvert that will translate your LFP into a LOG file. (BTW, many vendors name the .LOG file as .OPT)
Here is an example:
Case: SMITH v JONES
Filename: SVJ001.LOG
The bates range: SM001 - SM004
The CD volume: SVJ001
Database name: SVJ.DCB
SVJ001.LOG File Content:
SM001,SVJ001,D:\SVJ001\IMAGES001\SM001.TIF,Y,,,2
SM002,SVJ001,D:\SVJ001\IMAGES001\SM002.TIF,,,,
SM003,SVJ001,D:\SVJ001\IMAGES001\SM003.TIF,Y,,,1
SM004,SVJ001,D:\SVJ001\IMAGES001\SM004.TIF,Y,,,1
Summary:
So what we have here is 3 documents. The first is SM001 - SM002. We can see that it is the first page due to the "Y". We don't need the page count in the load file, but I included it so you can see where it would go.
Load The .LOG:
Opticon generates 2 files: SVJ.DIR and SVJ.VOL when you load the .LOG file. As you can see, the .DIR and .VOL files have the same name of SVJ, matching the .DCB file.
In Concordance, when you click on the camera icon, it will send the image key (e.g. "SM001") to Opticon. Opticon will open the .DIR/.VOL files and look for SM001. If the .DIR and .VOL files do not yet exist, Opticon will create them.
You will still need to load the .LOG file. You can load the .LOG file from the Opticon file menu, not from within Concordance.
I hope this answers your question.
