As a trial presentation technician and litigation support vendor, I am curious to know which software programs law firms are using and why. I would be happy to share my observations of the pros and cons of each program, but more importantly, I would like to begin a discussion of the real world application of the trial presentation programs.

Are there certain features of the program that you use on every case, prior to trial?

Is the user interface important enough to change from one program to another?

Are you paying for yearly tech support fees that have now been added to both programs?

Is the learning curve difficult to overcome with sporatic use?

Is one program easier to learn than the other?

Does Trial Director 5 have enough new "features" to warrant the upgrade cost?

What features are missing or needed to make this software even more versatile?

Do you currently use a different program and why?

What really irks you or pleases you about the software/companies?
