The Product Marketing Manager – Legal Solutions focus is marketing of the Records, Compliance and Legal Solutions (RCLS) division services. These are primarily eDiscovery and records management.

The Manager’s role is to gain a deep understanding of RCLS solutions, market and customer needs for records management, eDiscovery and related services such as compliance. You’ll be responsible for launch planning and execution of legal solution initiatives. You will be the project manager for pending new productized service development for records management services and future solutions. Development responsibilities include working closely with records professionals to define the service, developing the business case, training materials, sales kits, and You’ll develop and execute an integrated product marketing plan, produce product collateral, web content and provide diverse sales support including presentations and demos. You’ll identify customer needs that Oce should consider to provide innovative solutions that will create competitive advantage, and analyze and develop the business case for these opportunities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Become the product expert for legal solutions – mainly records management and eDiscovery - including technical functionality and features, and clearly communicate the differentiating value
• Act as project manager for new productized service development for records and discovery, building the business financial case, creating elements such as pricing, training, and sales kits
• Develop and communicate a product marketing plan for records and eDiscovery services to drive market share and profitability, and new solution development/launches
• Knowledgeably communicate on current and emerging customer needs, understanding the different perspective and decision processes of law firms and corporate legal departments, key market trends and target segments
• Define legal solution value propositions and knowledgeably translate into marketing messaging
• Provide essential information content to Marcom to assist brochure development and assist Marcom in their redesign and integration of a legacy legal website into the main website
• Collaborate with the Marcom Director and Demand Generation Manager to develop effective lead generation and nurturing campaigns to the legal solutions audience that result in ROI
• Track and understand the competition and provide ongoing reporting on key competitor capabilities, solutions and marketing strategies/tactics
• Gather information and provide a yearly analysis of the eDiscovery and records management market and key competitors, with recommendations on the implications for the legal solution portfolio, market tactics, and value proposition; keep competitive files and issue periodic updates
• Assist in defining, modeling and justifying pricing
