Looks Good

Postby beammeup » Sat Aug 23, 2003 10:23 am

Nice site with ALOT of content.

I am curious as to what the constant auto-refresh thing is on this site. It is kind of annoying. Maybe I will just turn off sounds on my computer so I will not have to listen to the click click click.

Anyway, thanks to those of you who made this site, I look forward to learning more about trial technology and hopefully expanding my business.

Auto Refresh

Ryan

Does that happen all of the time, or just when you are using the messenger feature within this site?

It does it all the time. But I can't seem to figure out how to kill the messenger service.

What I meant to say is I cannot stop the instant messenger window - little box to the left. I am not actually in a messenger session when this is happening. I am just viewing the forum.

It does it for me as well. It seems to be some sort of "Buddy" check to see if friends are online maybe? Here's what the status bar says when it clicks:

"Opening page http//www.lsva.com/pn/modules.php?name=Messenger&file=buddy&op=check&ref_interval=20000..."

I am not a programmer that's just what I got from "print screen" while clicking.

Hope that helps.

Robb,

You should also be aware that the e-mail notification that I receive for replies to this fourm contain an invalid link. The link takes me to a page that says "HTTP 404 - File not found".

Scotty,

We have a "Feedback" Module in the left most column. All issues reported there go Directly to Mark Lieb, who is the technical brains behind this site.
Please give Mark a challenge.
