End-user support included Summation iBlaze and eDiscovery, Concordance 6.1, IPRO Tech Discover, Review and Produce software, Trial Director, Depo Director to name a few. Summations Tools and a workflow model for managing electronic discovery were used. The Main SQL Database document Data was then ported to various other software to be used at trial time. CopyCase was used when attorneys need a local copy of the case to deliver to an expert witness for example. Trial director was used with Video Files to sync video with depositions in real time. Multiple smaller databases are created using Access or other software for small cases and then replicated to the Main Core Database for archival purposes. These companion databases resided within the firm, either on the network or local to the user on their machines or laptops. Created web user documentation for CaseCentral’s client Web service. Conducted client training sessions on use of Concordance and PLS document databases and Summation deposition databases.

Case Solution Example
Rev 973 vs. Mouren Luarens Oil Company
Environmental law case involving hazardous waste and contamination of land involving more than 1 million documents and multiple claims.

Multiple databases were created using numerous software such as SQL 7.0, MySQL, Access, Summation IBlaze, Concordance. Information from over 1 million documents were collected. One database the “PRP’s” included whether the PRP was a waste transporter or generator, off site contaminator, on-site contaminator, governmental entity, PRP respective volume of contribution, type of contaminants, their financial viability, their corporate status, current location, and insurance coverage. I managed and trained 20 plus lawyer/coders for 1.4 million documents. Algorithms were created to pull information from different document/database types. Such as quantities, receipts, cost, invoices, timecards, ledgers, etc. After the Independent Databases were relationally linked together (PRP and Conflicts for example), both parties could then share information electronically on secure website.

Also, support for 3D objects, Shockwave Flash was added. This gave us courtroom presentations with impact. Created complex search queries using Concordance and Access document databases and Summation deposition databases in order to produce specific search results; reported and printed these results in accordance with client requests. Produced and formatted Access reports containing search results generated from large document/image linked databases.
