Litigation Support Sr. Project Manager

General Purpose
This position is accountable for the overall technical and financial success of legal services projects. The Project Manager is directly responsible for the understanding and implementation of document processing specifications and procedures consistent with client-specified search/retrieval packages in the legal services environment. This position involves consultative client and internal communication, including ensuring appropriate scoping of and compliance with specifications, tracking to schedules, and status reporting. This position also requires leading others to achieve project deliverables, goals, and timelines.

Duties and Responsibilities
•Operationalizes technology solutions in a consultative manner to ensure client expectations are met.
•Develops detailed project specifications, documentation, and project schedules in accordance with client requirements and operational considerations.
•Communicates specifications to Production, and monitors progress and results through tracking and performance of quality audits.
•Resolves data format and output issues.
•Anticipates and troubleshoots unforeseen situations, and consults with client, Account Manager, or others to resolve issues.
•Manages, tracks, and communicates project progress to appropriate internal and external parties.
•Ensures client satisfaction through meeting project commitments and proactive, consistent communications.

Experience
•Strong technical skills including database/imaging experience, and electronic discovery within a law firm or litigation support vendor.
•Knowledgeable in best practices for litigation support.
•Hands on experience with standard image formats and major database and image base applications used by law firms including packages such as Concordance, Opticon, Ipro, Summation, JFS Litigator’s Notebook, IntroSpect, DocuMatrix, E-Tech/URLaw, MDN and others.
•Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
•Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functional areas, and strong client-focus.
•Ability to work on multiple tasks and maintain priorities.
•Demonstrated strong project management skills

Education
BA or BS Degree – Information Management, Computer Science or Business Administration a plus. PMP certification preferred.
