LiveNote sent my firm a letter asking for some small amount of money for each license (not a small amount).
I remember in a history of telecom class where companies were using their PBXs and dedicated circuits to bypass any long distance charges. Bell (remember, this is before the split) wrote letters to each company asking them to self-audit and write a check for whatever they felt was appropriate.
