Job Description
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is an experienced legal sales professional, responsible for revenue acquisition with both targeted prospects and existing clients.

The BDM must be creative, resourceful and always thinking about how to deliver better solutions for its clients. De Novo Legal thrives in being able to deliver for its clients and its BDM’s must be on the same page. We have a never say “No” mentality, if it can do it for our clients, we will. We do whatever it takes to get things done and we depend on our people to contribute for our clients every step of the way.

Primary Responsibilities:
Provides direct support to sales efforts by incorporating both client-related and operational support.

Develops cost models, manages change control process, oversees, coordinates and finalizes proposal content.

Responsible for overseeing highly complex projects, participates and may lead a specific portion of the Sales responses to clients, such as financial or technical detail, and defines the services provided by supporting business units.

Designs, develops and delivers reports to senior leaders and executive level clients.

Leads complex sales support and business development projects as needed

Qualification & Skill Requirements:
Ability to build strong relationships externally and internally

Leadership and Project Management skills

Proven consultative selling skills

Excellent verbal and written skills

Ability to influence others to achieve results

Demonstrates good judgment and resourcefulness

Education/Experience Requirements:
College degree (or equivalent experience) with technical emphasis or background preferred

3-7 years of e-Discovery or litigation support sales experience

Must have demonstrated successful sales track record, preferably in a legal, accounting or consulting environment.
