Bulk import PST-files into Concordance 8 ?

Postby AnnaTina » Sun Mar 09, 2008 3:12 am

Hi,

Is there a bulk import feature in Concordance 8 to import 50 or more .pst-files ? Or is there a way to automate the process ?

Loading PSTs to Concordance

Hi Anna,

I assume you are new in using Concordance or to Litigation Support field. When you have so many PSTs, I advise you to work with a e-discovery vendor. A vendor will process the PSTs natively or by tiffing them. I suggest that you ask the vendor to process natively and provide you with Concordance dat file and native files. Then, you can use Concordance and QuickView Plus. This way, the review/ case team can review, search keywords, and tag the responsive documents. After review, you can ask the vendor to convert those responsive documents into TIFF images. Depending on the production requirements, you may need to provide load files, bates stamped images, and OCR text files.
